Flowers at every visit

Families of florists often bring their favourite blooms on every visit, or ask the florist's former shop to deliver an arrangement on anniversaries. It's a living tribute that continues their craft.

Design tips

• Etched bouquets look beautiful on black granite.
• A planter lets family bring fresh flowers.
• Keep the bouquet to one side so the name stays clear.
• See ideas for a gardener.

Choosing the main emblem

Choose the flower they were known for — the bridal roses, the sunflower bouquets, the Christmas poinsettias. One clear bloom reads better than a crowded arrangement.

Key Takeaways

• Bouquets and favourite flowers suit florists.
• A built-in planter allows fresh flowers.
• Shop name and years add history.
• "She made the world bloom" is a fitting epitaph.
